This live webinar presentation will review how preparing the ocular surface for glaucoma surgery can be important. The impact of preservatives in eye drops for glaucoma treatment, how they can impact several ocular structures, and what signs to look out for, will also be reviewed.

Join Andrew Tatham to consider the effects of OSD on glaucoma surgery and how to achieve the best patients outcomes. Andrew is a former Leicester trainee who is now a consultant at Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh. He completed glaucoma fellowships at Moorfields and University of California San Diego. He is an NHS Scotland Research Clinician with research interests in imaging, telemedicine, glaucoma surgery and drug delivery. He is a past recipient of the ARVO Innovative Research Award, Tenovus Scotland Lady Illingworth Award and Pfizer Ophthalmic Fellowship. Andrew is a member of the European Glaucoma Society (EGS) Executive Committee and co-chairs the EGS scientific committee.
